In 1993 a M1841 bronze twelve pounder manufactured by Cyrus Alger & Company in 1851 was stolen from a location in the Atlanta area according to the Civil War Cannon Registry. The gun was engraved with an eagle on a globe and the words, "Arkansas Military Institute".

Does anyone know if this gun was ever recovered and, if so, what is its current location?
