:)My family has a legend that two sisters from White County TN were couriers for guerrilla Champ Ferguson. I have also seen the grave of Mary Kate Davis Patterson, who was a courier for Sam Davis and Coleman's Scouts. She married Sam's brother, who I think was killed in the war. She's one of only three women buried in Nashville's Mount Olivet Confederate circle. My blog is
