Many have seen, in the national news, coverage regarding the auto accident in which Morgan Freeman was involved. Mr. Freeman, now 71 years old, is listed in "fair" condition in a Memphis hospital.

In a personal discussion with Mr. Freeman, a dozen years after the making of the movie, he told me that "Glory" was his favorite movie.  In it, his character progresses from being a lowly grave-digger for the Union army to the rank of Sergeant-Major in the 54th Massachusetts. The movie climaxes with the gallant charge by Freeman's unit against Fort Wagner, in which their white colonel was killed.

The movie is an excellent portrayal of a unique occurrence in the fighting involving the coastal defenses of the South.

I heard about the accident.
I hope he is doing well to the circumstances and that he can continue his career.
Morgan Freeman is one of the best actors that are in the film industry.
It would be very sad if he is forced to stop.
