Does anyone know of a list of infractions with their punishments during the time frame of 1850 to 1870?
This would be the U.S. Navy but the Confederate Navy retained the same code.
Any info welcome

Thanks for the web sites. I give tours at Historic house and some
of the slave builders ran away and joined the U. S. Navy.  One wrote
a diary and I have found another African-American lower deck diary.
In both there mention of infractions and punishments. They knew what the reaction would be before they acted.  I wanted to know if there was a publish navy wide code or did each ship it's on code for minor infractions.  Thanks again.
