Keeping with the simple scheme, the engraving on the frame top surface is a single line etched around the border of the rear tang and framing the hammer at the front.
A close-up view of the opposite side of the frame showing the same pattern in reverse. I particularly like this pattern, which is a departure from the scrolling engravings usually found on Liege produced weapons.
A close-up of the simple, elegant engraving on the frame of this sturdy little pistol. Also, a very clean "Liege" proof just to the rear of the junction of barrel to frame.
The grips on this pistol have some of the nicest grain that I have seen on a weapon and still retain more than 90% of the original finish. The octagonal barrel appears to be rifled only at the bore (about 1 inch) to give a little spin to the projectile.
