Unlike the other Belgians in my collection, this robust little pistol has no engraving or embellishment as evidenced by this view of the hammer rear tang.

A close-up of the serial number stamped into the tang to the rear of the trigger guard. This is the only numbered Belgian that I own, or, for that matter, have seen.

A closeup of the right side of the frame. You can clearly see the junction of the twist-off barrel. There appears to be either the remains of a lug or a period weld at the rear of the barrel, but I have been unable to find any information about the purpose that could have been served by this addition. A closeup of the left side of the frame of this pistol showing the "Liege" Proofmark. Other than the serial number, this is the only mark on the pistol. I was somewhat surprised to find a smooth finished Belgian pistol without the trademark engravings.
