The tang at the rear of the hammer is more pointed than most Belgian produced designs but has the same elegant engraving as the rest of the pistol. A true testament to a time when form superceeded function and craftmanship was the rule rather than the exception.

The concealed trigger is revealed when the hammer is cocked making the pistol easy to draw and fire. Although, it must have been tough to hold onto when the 9mm round was fired.

Even the trigger (shown in the closed position) is decorated with a scroll engraving and an etched border around the frame bottom.

Both sides of the frame have the same design in reverse and are clear enough to be able to easily see the detail in the embellishments.

Both sides of the frame of this little pistol are completely covered with deep, clear engravings. The left side has the "Liege" Proof and what appears to be "1R" stamped just to the rear of the barrel junction. The engraving is not worn but the stamping is a touch light on the left side, and may actually be "JR".

This overall view shows the graceful design and attractive engraving that makes this little pistol a real gem. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or the front pocket of a vest, it packs a 9mm punch, although with a 1 1/2 inch barrel, accuracy must have suffered. Another "across the card table" concealment piece.
