Haversack

The haversack is an original Tarred Haversack carried by a man of the 5th MN VI during the CW, it is part of the collection of the Goodhue County, MN Historical Society.

Canteen

The Picture of the canteen: This non issue canteen was carried by Lewis Klingman of K Company 15th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. The canteen was likely purchased from an Army Sutler though it might well have come from another source.

Frank Conrad Stone

The Frank Conrad Stone is an ancestor of mine. Frank Conrad was a member of the 3rd IA VI he fought at Shiloh and at the Hatchie where he lost an eye,
he was discharged due to his wound and returned home. He returned to farming and eventually moved to Chatfield and later Douglas MN where he is
buried. The stone is all but illegible due to weathering.
