A brief history of the American Civil War
Text: Per Stern On July 16, 1861 are 37,000 government troops north of the border with Virginia. Their goal is to cut the railroad at Manassas and continue towards Southern States - Confederacy - the capital of Richmond. When the fall is the rebels tender enough to want to reenter the Union and thus make America whole again. It is certainly a widespread perception among politicians, newspaper editors and ordinary people in the north. |
